Is Sincerity enough to get you to heaven? Minimize

Is Sincerity Enough To Get You To Heaven?

It is not! It never has been. Let me show you from the Bible why sincerity alone will not get you to heaven. Uzzah, a man of God of whom we read about in 11 Sam. 6 tried to do a good thing by touching the ark of God to keep it from falling of the cart and onto the ground. However, no matter how sincere he was, the anger of the Lord was stirred up against him, God smote him, and he died. Uzzah was sincere but he did not obey the word of God in the way he handled the ark (Numbers 4:15).

Those that crucified Jesus were very sincere. There condemnation was not due to insincerity but to ignorance (Acts 3:17). Did God excuse their ignorance? No! Their sincerity was not enough to excuse their ignorance.

Do you believe that when you stand before God that your sincerity alone should be enough to get you into heaven? Sincerity is necessary for those that want to become a Christian. If those of us who call ourselves Christians want to please God, we must sincerely seek to know Jesus and to make him Lord of our life. Christians are not sincere not only displease our Lord but cause others to question our true testimony.

In conclusion, sincerity alone will not get you to heaven. The Bible says, “There is a way seems right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 16:25). Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man comes to the Father but by me (John 14:6).  I hope you are sincere in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can forgive sin and offer us the gift of eternal life. Having a sincere heart about religious matters will not get you into heaven. Sincerely think about it.
